PALO ALTO A real estate firm is seeking to develop 269 homes on an office property near the interchange of U.S. 101 and Oregon Expressway in Palo Alto, documents on file with city planners show. San Francisco-based Strada Investment Group paid $29 million In December 2025 for a 60,000-square-foot office building at 3350 West Bayshore Road. Should the project move forward, the firm would develop a 244-unit, seven-story apartment building on a section of the 4.1-acre site and an adjacent cluster of 25 townhomes that would be three stories high. It wasn t immediately clear whether the townhomes would be rentals or for sale. Strada Investment Group is seeking approval for the project through a streamlined review process under provisions of Senate Bill 330 and Assembly Bill 130, city planning documents show. The firm s expertise includes work on a wide-ranging redevelopment of The Shops at Tanforan in San Bruno and acting as the development manager for Chase Center in San Francisco. Strad
